The Washington Quarterly, often abbreviated TWQ, is a quarterly magazine of international affairs, analyzing global strategic changes and their public policy implications, hosted by the Elliott School of International Affairs (George Washington University)[1] and published by Taylor & Francis. Prior to the Spring 2014 issue, the journal was published by the Center for Strategic and International Studies and Routledge. It addresses topics such as the U.S. role in the world, the emerging great powers, missile defenses and weapons of mass destruction, global perspectives to reduce terrorism, regional issues and flash points, the implications of global political change, views from the U.S. Congress. Essays are written for the international affairs generalist.
